Some may think that to affirm dialogue—the encounter of women and men in the world in order to transform the world—is naively and subjectively idealistic. There is nothing, however, more real or concrete than people in the world and with the world, than humans with other humans.

I am a professional listener, a facilitator of stories: a Spanish interpreter, oral historian, and documentarian.

Based in New York City, I seek to be a bridge in my work—across language and experience. My goal is to gather and share stories that nourish the development of strong, multilingual communities engaged in the work of self-determination and societal transformation.

As an interpreter, I facilitate oral communication between Spanish-speakers and non-Spanish-speaking English-speakers with the goal of creating more inclusive and equality-minded community systems.
